Jaydess is a small hormone spiral developed specifically for young women and women without children. It is smaller than Mirena and gives off a lower hormone dose.
The spiral acts for 3 years and offers a very reliable prevention protection while at the same time low systemic hormone exposure.
Active Ingredients & Mechanism of Action
Active ingredient: Levonorgestrel 13,5 mg
Jaydess mainly works locally:
- Thickening of the cervical mucus
- Inhibition of sperm
- Change in cervical mucosa
The ovulation is not suppressed in most women.

- Young women and women without children (small diameter)
- Women who want a low hormone dose
- Women who do not use estrogens

- Release: about 6 μg/day (lower than Mirena)
