What is Mirvaso?
Mirvaso is a prescription gel for symptomatic treatment of facial redness (erythem) at Rosacea. The active ingredient Brimonidine narrows the expanded blood vessels in the skin and thus reduces the redness.
Unlike Soolantra, Mirvaso does not work against papules and pustules, but especially against the characteristic facial redness. The action starts within 30 minutes and lasts about 12 hours.
The drug is intended for the situational application – for example before important dates.
