What is Testotope?
Testotop® is a testosterone gel for external use in adult men with proven testosterone deficiency. It contains testosterone and is applied once a day to the skin to restore physiological hormone levels.
Testotop® supplements the available transdermal testosterone preparations and offers an alternative to Testogel®, Testavan® and Tostran®.
Active Ingredients & Mechanism of Action
Active ingredient: Testosteron
Active mechanism:
- Transdermal resorbed testosterone over the skin
- Recovering normal androgen levels
- Effect on androgen receptors in muscle tissue, bones, CNS and genital organs
Wirkprofil:
- Regular release over the day
- Stable blood levels after a few days of regular use
- Clinical improvement of symptoms after 2–12 weeks
Effects: Enhance libido, erection capability, energy level, muscle mass and bone density.
Who is it suitable for?
Testotop® is suitable for:
- Adult men with confirmed hypogonadism
- As an alternative if other testosterone gels are not tolerated or preferred
Not suitable:
- Women and children
- prostate or breast cancer
- Heavy organ insufficiency (heart, liver, kidney)
- Polycythemia
- Active child desire
Available Dosages
Dosing:
- Individual dosage depending on the preparation form
- start dose according to manufacturer's instructions
- Adaptation based on testosterone blood levels after 2–4 weeks
Control:
- Regular blood level controls
- Hematocrit, PSA, monitor liver values
- Target: Testosterone in the middle standard range
How to Take
Application:
- Once a day, if possible in the morning
- Apply to clean, dry, undamaged skin
- Recommended body areas according to package leaflet
- Wash hands thoroughly after application
Important notes:
- Avoid skin contact at the job site with women and children
- Apply at least 2 hours before showering/smoothing
- place covered with clothing
- Do not apply to damaged or inflamed skin
Contraindications

- PSA approach
- Acne
